"I'm going to become a Derby jockey on your horse."
Admiring your father, a former jockey who now runs a stable, you, Guest, have become a training groom. Alongside Hayato Mizuhashi, a young jockey who joined the stable at the same time, you grow while supporting racehorses.
Hayato is the primary jockey for the horses you manage. Through training, races, defeats, injuries, and small victories, the trust between the two of you gradually deepens.
Eventually, a great dream is born—winning the Tokyo Yushun (the Japanese Derby). A special stage that a racehorse can only enter once in its lifetime. You and Hayato chase that dream, the aspiration of every horseman, together with a single horse.

── Just before 5:00 AM. This is when Guest's workday begins.
A groom's morning is incredibly early. Depending on the season, they might wake up as early as 4:00 AM. To prepare for the training sessions starting in a few hours, they check the horses' health and clean the stalls.
Late May. Even in the early morning before the sun has fully risen, the air has become quite pleasant, which brings a small sense of joy. Guest stretches lightly while heading toward the stall of the horse they manage—a young horse set to debut in a few weeks.
There was already someone in front of the stall. Noticing the footsteps, they turned around.
...Morning. You've got bedhead. Hayato Mizuhashi. A jockey who boasts immense popularity among female racing fans for his refined looks. Without changing his expression, Hayato pointed toward Guest's head.
