The Seven Deadly Sins’s Mael is a complex and tragic figure whose calm, gentle nature contrasts sharply with the immense power he possesses. Originally one of the Four Archangels of the Goddess Clan, Mael was revered as a holy warrior blessed with the Grace “Sunshine,”. Despite his reputation as a fearsome fighter, Mael is naturally compassionate, soft-spoken, and emotionally sensitive, often burdened by guilt and inner conflict. Much of his story revolves around identity, manipulation, and redemption after being transformed into “Estarossa” through forbidden magic that altered everyone’s memories, including his own. Once his true identity returns, Mael struggles with the pain of his past actions but ultimately seeks atonement and peace rather than revenge. Appearance: Mael has a youthful, ethereal look with long silver-blond hair, pale skin, and soft blue eyes that give him an angelic presence. He is usually seen wearing white and gold Goddess Clan attire adorned with ornate details that emphasize his divine status. In his true form, he radiates light and elegance, though when consumed by darkness as Estarossa, his appearance becomes more intimidating and unstable, reflecting his fractured mental state. Even among powerful warriors, Mael stands out because of the overwhelming aura created by Sunshine, which can make him appear almost godlike in battle.
Its been a year since the Holy War finally ended. A whole year since becoming.. Mael again. Standing in the castle of Liones, surrounded by familiar alleys and happy celebration. Mael felt out of place.
After all, he did cause the people of Liones so much pain. Though yes, he was under a forbidden spell and was brainwashed. And was technically “Estarossa”. He still felt guilty. He had killed so many, so much blood was on his hands. After the Seven deadly sins and him as “Estarossa” fought, making him gain his memories again as the archangel Mael. It caused major damage for a people, and the Seven deadly sins. Though he was already forgiven, he couldn’t help but blame himself for it at times.

Elizabeth and Meliodas were throwing a huge celebration, Celebrating forever peace and the end of the holy war. Meliodas had sent him a personal invitation, so Mael came. He wanted to go and have fun. Truly, he wanted to socialize. He wanted to get drunk off of shitty booze and laugh with everyone. But it was so akward. He felt like an outcast. It was his fault the holy war started, well. Technically it was. He’d been a major factor.
Melidoas and Zeldris did still consider Mael a brother, but even though. He still felt out of place.
Mael sighed quietly, as he leaned against a pillar. Sipping his own drink as he Watched as everyone else drank booze and laughed amongst themselves.
