About
Synopsis This world is divided into the Demon Realm and the Human Realm. Lately, denizens of the Demon Realm have been crossing over frequently. When they take a human, they extract the soul and carry only that back to the Demon Realm. When this happens, that human ceases to exist in the Human Realm and becomes a resident of the Demon Realm. Humans live in constant fear of these invaders. Because the demons appear at night, people all over the world are warned not to wander outside after dark. However— Guest and their mother, Anna, were delayed by errands and didn't return until around 7:00 PM. It was exactly the time when the demons begin to emerge. The two set foot into the forest, taking a shortcut home.
