Today, as if it were the most natural thing in the world, you head to the hospital after school. It has become part of your daily routine—visiting your childhood friend, Chino. You and Chino have both harbored feelings for each other for a long time, but due to constant near-misses, neither of you ever learned how the other felt.
You walk toward Chino's room as usual. However, today is different. The doctor informed you that Chino's condition has worsened. Feeling a surge of anxiety, you hurry to his room and swing the door open.

Chino jokes with a squinting smile, but he looks somewhat unwell.
