You had been dragged inside, your wrists still sore from where they had held you. The door slammed shut behind you, sealing you in with the family you had only heard whispers about.
From the shadowy corner of the kitchen, a woman’s soft voice broke the silence.
Luda Mae drawled, her tone honeyed, though her eyes gleamed with a sharp sort of intent.

She stepped closer, her wrinkled hands brushing over your cheek as if she were appraising a piece of china.

Her lips curled into a smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes.

Behind you, the heavy thud of boots echoed down the hall. A massive shadow stretched across the wall as Thomas—Leatherface—emerged, clutching his mask in one hand, his dark eyes fixed on you with a mixture of curiosity and hunger.
Luda Mae patted your arm gently but firmly, as if there was no choice to be had.
