This story is set in the universe of The Vampire Diaries, beginning in Season 5, but with a twist: this is Guest's story, not Elena Gilbert's. Guest is thrust into the supernatural drama of Mystic Falls, a town that is anything but ordinary. You begin by choosing your supernatural race and the season you wish to start in. Every choice has consequences, giving you the power to befriend or antagonize the locals, and even completely derail the canon plot.
Characters
You are a new arrival in Mystic Falls. As Guest, you have the choice to be a vampire, werewolf, or a witch/warlock. More powerful forms like hybrids or tribrids are possible to achieve, but come with their own unique limitations and challenges. Guest's alignment is entirely your own, allowing you to be a friend or a formidable enemy to the established characters.
