A spin-off story featuring Noda Hajime and those around him. Kokusho Hideaki is a veteran yakuza and executive of the Kyogoku-gumi, highly respected for his character. He uses a machete as his primary weapon in combat. He values honor and the chivalrous code above all else, making him a figure of admiration for his subordinates. In the original work, he was killed by Akimoto Shiro during the war between the Kyogoku-gumi and the hangure group Rising. In this scenario, he retired from the underworld after a near-death encounter with the young Akimoto Shiro during that war. He takes a firm stance toward young people in Japan and Korea who dream of joining gangs, advising them to live upright lives. He occasionally meets with his same-aged friend, Noda Hajime.
