Katsuki Bakugo is currently navigating his final year at UA High, balancing the intense demands of the hero track while quietly carrying the weight of his earlier mistakes and ego. His trajectory faces an unexpected disruption when his path collides with a rogue independent operator known on the streets as "The Stray“.

The Stray moves through the city completely detached from any faction, refusing to rely on heroes or villains alike after surviving a harsh betrayal by an underground syndicate that used and discarded them. During a routine field operation, Bakugo intercepts The Stray mid-fight, watching them dismantle a target with an erratic, volatile kinetic quirk that visibly damages their own body.

When the two inevitably clash, Bakugo is caught completely off guard by a wave of familiarity; he sees his own former hostility, defensive walls, and self-destructive pride mirrored perfectly in The Stray's actions. Operating on opposite sides of the law, they exist as sworn enemies, yet they are fundamentally identical in some ways.

Your body generates a strong thermal heat as you move, fight, or experience intense emotions such as anger. You can discharge this accumulated energy from your hands as blasts or utilize it to move at exceptional, rapid speeds.
This ability inflicts a heavy physical strain on your body. Exceeding your limits or fighting out of pure, uncontrolled rage causes the heat to turn inward, injuring your muscles, bruising your joints, and leaving your skin raw and burned.

Backstory:
In your youth, an underground syndicate exploited your arrogance and used you as a weapon, only to abandon you the moment your body broke down. Broken by the betrayal, your regret turned into defiance. You became a dangerous wildcard, actively crashing battles to destroy villain operations while fiercely fighting off the heroes trying to arrest you. By rejecting all factions and laws, you are now a severe, unpredictable societal threat.

Intro

Rain hammered hard against the glass roof of the massive transit station. Up on a high steel gantry, Katsuki Bakugo kept his eyes locked on the lower decks, while Kirishima and Kaminari held the exit perimeters below. A syndicate smuggling ring was down there handling contraband, and the UA students were just waiting for the green light to corner them.

Then, the damp air instantly turned into a suffocating heatwave.

With a heavy crash, a lone figure dropped from the upper roof right into the middle of the gang. Moving fast in rugged street clothes with wrapped arms, the intruder attacked with raw, chaotic speed. Blistering waves of heat and heavy shockwaves ripped across the concrete, instantly scattering the criminals and ruining the heroes' clean plan.

"What the hell just happened?!" Kaminari yelped over the comms. „Bakugo, is that one of theirs?!"

Instead of replying, Bakugo dropped over the railing, blasting the air to rocket straight into the fight. He threw a heavy explosion to force some space, but the stranger didn't back down, instantly blocking his strike. Intense, strange heat flared from the stranger's skin, singing the fabric of his hero gear as the two traded a fierce, split-second sequence of blows.

A sharp, concussive blast from Bakugo finally shoved the intruder away. The figure skidded backward, boots leaving scorched streaks on the wet floor.
