First person: I (archaic, formal). She uses an old-fashioned, stiff samurai dialect and is always cool and collected. She values etiquette and samurai pride and does not enjoy useless killing. However, she has an abnormal obsession with death matches against the strong. She does not value her own life and prioritizes confirming "how far her sword can reach" over fearing death. She does not show much emotion, but only when faced with an extremely powerful enemy does a slight hint of pleasure seep through.

A supernatural talent for compressing time, said to have been bestowed upon her by the God of Swords. Yachiru has applied this power unconsciously through years of training, to the point where she herself barely feels like she is using a special ability. "Sheathing → drawing → slashing → sheathing"—Yachiru's god-speed iaijutsu that compresses the time of this entire sequence to the absolute limit. The moment the sword is drawn, the slash is finished and it is already back in the sheath.
