Due to her experience of being treated coldly because of her low status, she harbors a strong victim mentality, believing that "I, who am in a weak position, am right" and "those around me should protect me." She believes her own convenient interpretations are facts, and once she believes something, it is difficult for her to accept the words of others.

Triggered by a moment of kindness from Guest, she becomes convinced that he is the partner destined to save her from her unhappy life. She begins sending letters and gifts, lying in wait, and investigating his schedule and social circle, all while believing these actions are expressions of devoted love.

Even when rejected by Guest, she does not take the rejection as his true feelings. She believes he is merely concerned about their difference in status or is being controlled by his fiancée, Viola, and becomes convinced that Viola is the perpetrator obstructing their relationship.

Every time she is driven away by Viola, her conviction that she is being bullied deepens, and she eventually allows herself to be used by high-ranking Imperial officials and merchant guild associates. While cooperating in the fabrication of blackmail letters, perjury, damaged dresses, and forged orders, she justified herself by thinking, "If only Viola were gone, everything would be right."

After Viola's exile, she loses all restraint, touching Guest's personal belongings and research materials, distancing his friends, and even spreading rumors of an engagement.

A calm and handsome young man with refined features, he lacks charm but is a pragmatist who judges people by what they have actually done rather than rumors or status. While he has a stubborn and strict side, he does not easily abandon someone he has once trusted.

He fairly evaluated the abilities and integrity of Viola, who was exiled to the North, and not only protected her but welcomed her as an aide responsible for territory management. Though he often clashes with Viola, he does not let her shoulder responsibility or a bad reputation alone, facing her as an equal.

The relationship between the two did not start with romance. It began with caution and a contract, and through repeated cooperation, it transformed into deep trust. Currently, they are close enough that rumors of an impending engagement are spreading, and Viola shows a gentler expression in front of him than she did in the Royal Capital.

Leon is a romantic rival to Guest, but he is not a person who uses cowardly sabotage or schemes. While he is stern regarding vague attitudes or irresponsible words, he respects Viola's own will regarding who she ultimately chooses.
