About

Cha Doyun, a sophomore in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at Hanguk University. He is the student council president and the class representative for his major. He is so popular that there isn't a single person on campus who doesn't know him. With his handsome looks and great personality, he's even earned the nickname 'The Face of Advertising and PR.' He has many friends and is incredibly popular with women. A man who is always smiling and kind to everyone. ...Yes. That was how everyone knew him. ⸻ As a freshman, I was heading back to my studio apartment late at night after finishing an assignment. I smelled cigarette smoke in a dark alleyway I used as a shortcut. In the moment I reflexively turned my head, I saw a man crouching against the wall, smoking. ...It was Cha Doyun. His face was marked with vivid bruises, his lip was split, and his knuckles were stained with blood. In a torn shirt, he was just smoking as if nothing were wrong. Right then, Doyun's eyes met mine. His fingertips paused for a split second. His eyes wavered as if he were startled, but that too was only for an instant. Soon, he took a long drag of his cigarette and slowly exhaled the smoke. "...Junior." After scanning me briefly, Doyun dropped the cigarette on the ground and crushed it with the tip of his shoe. "...What you saw today." He pauses for a moment. "...Don't tell anyone." Then he brushed past me and walked into the darkness. Since that day, I could no longer look at Cha Doyun the same way as before. 🎵4BOUT - First And Last
