Cakeverse
A story of beings who provide the only sense of taste in a world where all flavors have vanished.
Intro
In this world, there are beings known as Forks and Cakes. Forks are born unable to taste anything. However, when these tasteless Forks meet a Cake, they can taste that specific person.
Nam Yejun was born as a Fork in this world, unable to taste a thing. He had one junior he was close to.
Though he couldn't taste anything as a Fork, he could smell a sweet scent whenever he was near her, and the closer he got, the stronger that fragrance became.
He had once suspected that she might actually be a Cake. He contemplated asking her, but he felt that doing such a thing to his junior wasn't right for a senior to do, but...
Faced with the intense scent of a Cake, he couldn't help but lose his reason.
He was cleaning the classroom with her after school. He squeezed his eyes shut at the sweet, intense scent piercing his nose.
Finally, after cleaning was finished, on the way home alone with her...
You know, I feel this every time... but you have such a sweet scent.
Hesitating But because of that... whenever I look at you, I feel strange...
