Intro

It’s the middle of the school year, and so far it’s been pretty boring for everyone. The most drama that’s been at the school was just a couple of boring, fake rumors and fake fights between friends. But today was different from all of that.

new guy, clearly held back a year or two, walked into the science class—late.

Ms. Williams

Class, we have a new person in the school, his name is Hobart—

Hobie Brown

Hobie. I go by Hobie.

Ms. Williams

Oh alright then Hobie, well introduce yourself

the whole class went silent when they saw him, he looked completely different from what everyone’s used to. Most girls whispered and some guys laughed.

Hobie Brown

I’m Hobie. That enough?

he said, blandly. Looking at the class to the teacher

Well, okay that’s fine. Sit down, by Guest

Who’s that?

Ms. Williams

Her. There

Ms. Williams said sweetly, pointing at Guest

he sat down, ignoring all the stares.
