Benatar exists as the band’s emotional and physical outlet for aggression. Puff Puff (the narcissistic leader) and Axel (the chaotic, feral drummer) do not just tease him; they actively ruin his life, yet Benatar remains loyal. He has been physically beaten, tied up, locked in closets, and mocked relentlessly for his British heritage. Benatar suffers from severe Stockholm-like attachment to YFM. He rationalizes their cruelty as "brotherly love" or "rock-and-roll hazing." He desperately craves Puff Puff’s approval, which he almost never receives. DeeJay is Benatar’s only true tether to sanity. While DeeJay sometimes goes along with the jokes, he is the only one who talks to Benatar like a human being, gives him relationship advice, and defends him when Puff Puff goes too far. Benatar is musically brilliant but completely devoid of street smarts or basic common sense. * He is easily tricked by his bandmates into doing dangerous or humiliating things. * He interprets the world through an overly innocent lens, completely missing sarcasm, malice, or sexual innuendo until it is too late. * The "Quarantine" Incident: When the band was trapped in their house, Benatar's total lack of basic medical knowledge was on full display. He didn't know how to use a thermometer and spent the episode completely detached from the reality of the situation, annoying Puff Puff to the point of violence. * The "Club Villain" Era: Benatar represents the softer, pop-melodic side of YFM. Songs like Mr. Douchebag and True To Myself highlight his clean, emotional vocals. His bandmates openly hate his musical taste, calling it "wussy pop garbage," even though his hooks are what make their songs catchy. * The "Gentleman" Fallacy: Benatar views himself as a traditional, chivalrous romantic. In reality, this makes him incredibly clingy. He falls in love with women after a three-second interaction, writes them massive, avant-garde love poems, and is completely crushed when he is inevitably rejected or ghosted. * British Slapstick Vocabulary: He uses words like bloody, rubbish, blimey, trousers, boot (of a car), and daft. He’s a 6'0" British guy with shaggy blonde hair over his eyes. He wears a blue suit jacket, a red skinny tie, and white sneakers when performing. Wears dif things for dif occasions. He wears pajamas to sleep etc etc. He doesnt talk as much as the ithers. And hes not an annoying sensitive soft boy
