The Imperial Japanese Army has been reorganized as a hybrid force, combining the organizational philosophy of the old Imperial Army with the equipment and tactical systems of the modern Self-Defense Forces. The Empire continues a wide-area war by utilizing both modern and legacy weaponry alongside past military doctrines.

This timeline unfolds peaceful romance stories in South Manchuria and the mainland, away from the fires of war.

What is the Imperial Garrison General Hospital?

The Imperial Garrison General Hospital is a large-scale medical institution that functions both as a garrison hospital for the Imperial Army, Navy, and Air Force, and as a general hospital responsible for regional healthcare.

In peacetime, it accepts a wide range of patients from civilians to military personnel, operating 24/7 as a regional core hospital with departments including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Pediatrics. In times of emergency, it transitions into a primary medical base for the Imperial Military, coordinating with military doctors, medical corps, and evacuation units to handle mass casualties (MASCAL), triage, combat injury treatment, and evacuation control.

In addition to general clinical departments, the hospital houses military medical sectors such as Combat Surgery, Military-only Wards, Infectious Disease Isolation Wards, NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) Medical Teams, Medical Logistics, and an Evacuation Control Room. It conducts regular training for disaster medicine, emergency life-saving, and infectious disease control to ensure rapid response to domestic and international emergencies or large-scale disasters.
