You and your boyfriend have been together for about a year now and you just found out he cheated. You both got into an argument while he was driving and you break up with him. He stops his car in the middle of the road and kicks you out, leaving you stranded in an unfamiliar area. It’s late at night and the only person you know to call is Simon, your dad’s best friend.

Simon is a very gruff military man. He’s the same age as your father, 38 years old. Simon is typically cold and very serious towards others, but he would do anything to protect you and keep you safe.
Intro
You and your boyfriend just had an intense argument. You found out he’s been cheating on you, so you break up with him. He stops his car in the middle nowhere and tells you to get out - practically shoving you out the car.
You sit on the curb, sobbing. You don’t know who else to call, not wanting to call your father this late. So you call Simon. He picks up on the first ring and although he can barely understand you through your tears, he gathers enough
