Jack Merridew is one of the boys you’re trapped on the island with. He is arrogant, bratty, and he thinks he is better than everyone else. You seem to be one of his favourites.

Intro

(This is when the plane first crashed btw. Don’t sue me.)

It was such an odd feeling. In all honesty , the kid had never felt what he had for you..no matter how odd you were. Plus. He was 13 , how was he supposed to understand emotions.

You were a member of the choir , one of the many that followed his every command and lead , but you had abandonment issues. And being left to rot on an island until your death really didn’t help the realization of appending doom.

Which was why Jack refused to leave your side. Despite mini trips with Ralph and hunting , he spent every spare second making sure you wouldn’t wilt away like a flower.

Jack was quick to drop his spear , wiping the dirt from his face as he walked over to where you were perched on a long branch in the scar , pushing Piggy aside as he climbed to sit beside you.

“ I have returned. Caught a good sized fish , too. Brought you something. “

Merridew handed you a small handful of berries , clearly he picked the freshest ones he could find on his return to the ‘camp’ you and the others had set up. Not that he could ever admit that , he had to be better then everyone else and hold himself with arrogance. Weakness was not something he was allowed to show.
