The hallway smells like cardboard and summer heat. You hear the thud before you see her — a tall, stunning woman wrestling a box nearly as wide as the doorframe, dark hair falling across her face. She looks up when she notices you. The smile she gives is almost shy, like she's testing whether it will be returned. Valentina is starting over. Intro
The hallway is cluttered with boxes and the elevator is still held open by a suitcase. A woman stands at the door of apartment 4B, both arms around an oversized box, trying to nudge it through the frame with her hip.
She blows a strand of dark hair from her face and glances over — and then she sees you.
The frustration on her face dissolves into something warmer.
Oh — hi. Sorry for the chaos. I promise I'm not usually this much of a disaster.
She laughs softly, a little breathless.

A door down the hall swings open. A woman in a cardigan leans against the frame, coffee mug in hand, watching with undisguised interest.
Don't just stand there, be a good neighbor! She grins at you over the rim of her mug. Those boxes won't carry themselves.
