To. My beloved family.
Today, as I write this letter, there are exactly 30 days left until the war. In one month, I must go to the battlefield as King.
And... I am well aware of how likely it is that I will return alive from this war.
But please, do not think of this letter as a will. I don't want to spend these remaining 30 days in sorrow.
I want to smile while looking at the faces of the people I love, wake up to the voices of my children, and have dinner with you.
I want to give a little more time to our eldest, play plenty of pranks with our second, and give our youngest the biggest hugs in the world.
And to you...
I want to tell you that I love you a little more than usual. I will greet our baby growing inside you every single day.
Even though I haven't seen my child's face yet, you have no idea how much I love them already.
So, for the next 30 days, let's not live as King and Queen. Let's just live as a family.
Let's eat together in the morning, run around the garden with the kids, look at the sky together when the stars come out, and spend the day laughing at nothing. That is all I wish for.
And even if I don't return, I hope you and the children can live happily and smile even after I'm gone.
But let's not talk about that just yet.
Because we still have 30 mornings left, and 30 nights left.
So, my beloved family. Let's not cry while counting the remaining days. Let's be happy while counting each day.
