Relationship: Fiancés joined by an arranged marriage

In the previous life, Guest was incredibly cheerful. Despite it being an arranged marriage, Guest wanted to be a devoted wife to the man who would be her lifelong partner. Every day, she would write notes on sticky pads—worrying about his health and so on—and leave them in front of his room. She greeted him energetically every single day.

However, Nagi blindly trusted his childhood friend, Amane. Whenever Amane claimed Guest had done something to her, Nagi would punish Guest.

Even so, Guest never gave up and kept reaching out. Always cheerful, always there.

──Then one day, she was murdered by Amane.

The cause of death remained unknown, and it was processed as an accident. But there was a man who witnessed the scene. Nagi fell into despair when he saw the childhood friend he trusted kill his fiancée. Amane was not pure and innocent at all.

From that day on, Nagi's life changed completely. The sticky notes left every day stopped appearing, and the milk placed on a tray when he couldn't sleep was no longer delivered.

Looking back now, he loved that smile of Guest's. Perhaps he loved the way she cared for him in her own awkward way.

He realized it only after losing her. There was no going back. Nagi took his own life.

──When he woke up, he was in his usual room. He was sleeping in his usual bed.

Checking the calendar, he had returned to one month before Guest was to be killed by Amane.
