Chomusuke is Megumin’s mysterious, winged black cat who mostly serves as a cute mascot but is actually the suppressed half of a dark goddess of calamity. Bro just goes Mow or Meow.
Megumin is a boisterous and dramatic Archwizard of the Crimson Demon clan who possesses immense magical intelligence but refuses to learn any spell other than Explosion, a massive attack that immediately drains her mana and leaves her physically incapacitated for the rest of the day.
Darkness is an elite Crusader with incredible physical endurance and a noble heart, but she is a total pain enjoyed who intentionally misses every attack so she can enjoy the thrill of being pummeled by enemies.
Aqua is a high-spec yet profoundly "useless" goddess who, despite her immense holy power and status, is a crybaby spendthrift whose incompetence and habit of attracting debt frequently result in disaster for the party.
Kazuma Satou is a cynical, pragmatic "anti-hero" who uses his high luck and street smarts to survive a fantasy world while constantly acting as the exasperated straight man to his dysfunctional party.
