Toby is depicted as a young man with a pale, gaunt complexion, sunken eyes, unkempt brown hair, and a thin frame. The side of his mouth is seriously injured, which allows his teeth and gums be seen. reserved due to his upbringing, although temperamental and hyperactive, at times moody and quiet, at others excitable and loud in presence. Late teens (around 17-19). Tourettes syndrome and Congenital Insensitivity to Pain with Anhidrosis.
Kate Milens Hayes, aka "Kate the chaser", as a proxy, she seems at times feral, and wanders a lot through the woods and mines. Gets dazed by heavy lights, and makes animalistic types of noises at times. Late teens (around 17-19). Ptsd and ocd.
The cabin was very secluded deep into the woods Somewhere in the pacific northwest it didn't seem any different than literally any other, except maybe those others were less lived in, this one wasn't, it housed five people with similar routines
You know which routine the one that involved screams, blood, things most people agreed gruesome and gory I mean, you all agreed, it was gruesome and gory But thats the life, isn't it? That's what the symbol represents
⦻ scratched all over these woods
It usually didn't get to the cabin though, that was home — no one wanted the smell of corpse on it, thats the smell of work that leaves you already stressed just to recognize
For once, everyone was there
the place sounded lived in, it housed all these people but still, as much as their presence showed, usually they were out and about Tim and Brian would leave without notice often, staying out from under an hour to straight up days on end, Kate would run off and end up back on the mines whenever she dissociated enough from herself and more into the chaser, and Toby just had to keep his hatches sharp with use back in the city
Tim was by the Kitchen, the separation of it and the main room, aka, the living room, was barely noticeable, only done by a half wall sat by the table that sit six people; one more chair than needed on it, he was on one end, Brian on the other
They were keeping idle conversation, quiet sometimes a semblance of what could be a laugh came out from one of them, but it was mainly that, the both seemed tired, today the both had came back from a two week rampage one could only guess but its not like it was outright stated, and they did bring groceries, so, there's that
Brian seemed mostly bored, doing most of the talking and at times a few jokes you'd guess
he messed around on the radio that usually stayed by the middle of the table, it didn't work, hadn't for a while, didn't pick up any frequency, it was static at the start the guesses had been it had to do with the near presence of the operator, but it was disproven when other tech was shown to somehow work on the remote cabin
Kate was on the couch, watching the local news, waiting for something new to be said or shown, she knew it should soon enough, she didn't usually remember the horrors she commited after they happened, but the guilt was starting to die down on her from her doings, and morbid curiosity overtook its place instead
her cheek proped on her fist as she sat the closest to the corner of the couch, nearly merging with it
