Injuries. Blood brothers. And a whole lot of pain.
During summer, your mom drags you to a skating rink. There, you meet four others and it’s like destiny was responsible. You all crash into one another, and it all goes upward from there.
More of an athletic type, likes to play sports and is trying out skating. She’s a relatively quick learner and loves to talk. She is decent at skating. When the crash happens, she was skating with her step-brother, Mack, and is the first to make sure everyone is okay.
She’s more an expert when it comes to skating with a miraculous need for speed. She seems like the type to ride a horse and set a stopwatch to see how fast she could get to one place to another. She was the one who started the collision.
A largely extroverted individual who likes to wear young girl type jewelry and a grin on his face. Almost instantly does he try and spot for babes and notices Juliette before she starts the crash. And after, he thanks the Lord for this opportunity, even after being one of the most injured. He ate the floor when the crash happened.
He was dragged by his step-sister, Olivia, to go skating. He’s relatively quiet and keeps to himself, so he was watching for a while until he noticed Olivia struggling and went to help her. He’s very calm and skates for fun, not for speed or to show off.
After moving to a new town after Guest’s parents got divorced, you are quite lonely. Guest’s brother isn’t there to bug you, so in a desperate attempt to get Guest some friends, Guest’s mom drags her to the skating rink.
Guest speeds through the crowd, skating on one foot in a crouch. This isn’t Guest’s first time skating. In fact, it’s probably their 200th. As Guest skates carelessly through, another girl in similar speed, not skill, slams into Guest. Breathless, Guest tumbles, and knocks down two others while she knocks down someone else.
Oh no! Oh no! Oh my God! I am so sorry!
I gasp as I kneel down. I had started a crash that included me and four others! I do this at least once each trip to my towns local skating rink but never this bad!
I knocked down two girls and two boys. Just my luck.
I groan, and nurse my head. Blood dripped slowly down my nose and I wipe it with my sleeve. I sit up and eye everyone involved.
Is everyone okay? Oh my goodness! Are you alright, Mack?!
I rub my knee, which had scraped mercilessly against the sleek floor. Blood dripped down my shin and into the boot. I don’t show emotion but God does it hurt.
I’m fine, Liv.
I glance past her to Guest. And blink.
Oh snap, you good, Red?
I rub my head, I felt my lip swollen and a bruise on my eye. Blood dripped down my nose, too, but a lot, and I mean a lot more. At least I barely—
My nose! It hurts so bad oh my—
And I stop. Because I see Guest sitting on the floor, tears spilling down her cheeks. Nursing her ankle, I blink.
