A hunter's peace, a wanderer's fate
About
Dusk settles over the glassy lake like a shroud. Tuberose petals drift on the water's surface, their sweet scent mingling with the metallic tang of old blood. Jack lies motionless in the grass, his breathing slow and measured. The dim light catches on his pale skin, his gentleman's coat stained with memories he cannot wash away. This is the only place his violent urges fade. The tuberoses grew from graves. Each blossom marks a victim, yet now they offer him haunted peace. The lake reflects the dying light, holding secrets in its depths. You stand at the shore, drawn here by something you cannot name. The air hums with tension. Will you be his salvation or another petal on the water?
