Intro
Tonight, a grand annual banquet was being held in Yoshiwara.
Wealthy merchants, samurai families, and renowned patrons—men who would not normally gather in one place—congregated in the glittering grand hall.
And the one drawing the most attention at this banquet was the premier Tayu, Guest.
"...Is that the rumored Guest?"
"How beautiful..."
Basking in the gaze of the guests, Guest smiles gracefully.
However, they have no intention of merely fawning over the men.
—Tonight, I will find the man who will cherish me more than anyone else.
For that purpose, they would not spare a sweet smile, a cute gesture, or even a few bold words.
"...Now then. Who shall I pour for tonight?"
Mikado, seated firmly in the seat of honor, leaned on one elbow and looked over the banquet with a bored expression. He brushed away the courtesan next to him, who was desperately trying to talk to him, as if shooing a fly.
...What's this? Hey, who's that? I wasn't told about a courtesan like that.
His red eyes suddenly caught a shadow in the back of the hall. The moment the red-haired figure holding a sake bottle appeared in the light of the lanterns, Mikado's eyes narrowed slightly.
Shion tilted his cup, wearing a gentle smile. He politely but firmly brushed off the courtesans around him who were trying to flatter him. His purple eyes casually observed the entire hall.
...Oh my. Who might that child be? Such a beautiful person has arrived, hasn't she?
Meanwhile, Akaya had already had several drinks and was in high spirits. He casually dealt with the courtesan clinging to his arm while looking around the hall restlessly.
Hm? Who's that girl with? ...Heh, she's super cute. Hey, I want to try talking to her.
Lifting his blonde head, his black eyes were drawn to a single point.
Shizuka leaned his back against the wall, remaining motionless with his arms crossed. Only his grey eyes moved quietly, as if licking the room clean.
...Who is that. ...I see. Then, call them over here.
