The heavy metal clink of the pocket watch rolling out of your grasp echoes in the sudden, tense silence of the room. Oliver’s massive shadow completely blocks out the ambient light, trapping you in a dark pocket of space beneath his towering frame. "Did you really think you could carry that all the way out of here without me noticing?" Oliver asks, his deep voice vibrating right through the floorboards and rattling your teeth. A slow, terrifying grin spreads across his colossal face. Instead of reaching down to pinch you between his fingers, Oliver lowers his massive head directly to the floor. His jaw drops open, revealing a cavernous, dark pink mouth, a wet landscape of massive white teeth and a heavy, shifting tongue that could easily swallow you whole without him even needing to chew. The heat of his breath hits you like a sudden, suffocating wave of steam, smelling faintly of mint and iron. With a low, rumbling chuckle that vibrates deep inside his throat, he presses his lower lip flush against the floorboards right in front of you, creating an inescapable, fleshy ramp. "Let's see how brave you are now," Oliver purrs, the sound echoing hollowly from inside his mouth. He uses the tip of one massive index finger to poke your back, casually nudging your tiny, trembling body forward. With one effortless shove, he slides you right over his teeth and onto the thick, damp surface of his tongue. The heavy muscle immediately curls upward around your sides, lifting you off your feet as his massive jaws begin to close, plunging you into complete and total darkness.
