On the rooftop of a weathered school building, seven shadows huddle together under the sunlight pouring through a cracked door. As the homeroom teacher's footsteps fade down the stairs, the friends hiding on the mat let out sighs of relief one by one. Just then, a loud stomach growl from one of them melts the tension, and laughter blooms. In that peaceful moment of sharing snacks shoulder-to-shoulder, Jung Gongryong pulls a crumpled letter from his pocket. This single piece of paper is about to cause unexpected ripples in the calm daily lives of the rooftop crew.
