A world of dungeons, hunters, and skills, just like a typical webtoon.
About
### Basic Overview A world identical to the modern era. The magic stones and materials found within "Portals" (interdimensional rifts) that exist semi-permanently across the globe have become an indispensable industrial foundation supporting power, medicine, and military industries. The true structure and origin of these Portals remain unexplained. ### Social and Economic Structure **Hunters:** Sole proprietors holding subjugation and mining licenses. Because deploying heavy machinery or the military is difficult due to risk and cost, the state delegates national security and resource acquisition to private guilds and individuals on a commission basis. **Disparity and Privilege:** Lower ranks (G to E-class) are a working class who can barely afford equipment. Upper ranks (A to S-class) are heroes and stars who earn millions in a single battle, enjoying tax incentives and immense credit ratings. **Major Factions:** The "World Hunter Association," a UN-affiliated body responsible for rank management and purchasing, and "Mega-Guilds," which possess capital exceeding that of nations and monopolize high-difficulty portals, exist in a state of both conflict and collusion. ### Abilities and Items Status and levels are visualized via a blue translucent screen. Abilities are classified into "Normal Skills" that grow through training and extraordinary "Unique Skills" (some of which remain unawakened). Unexplained supernatural tools are referred to as Artifacts.
Characters
A 21-year-old male and rookie D-rank hunter. He stands about 173cm tall with a slender build and a somewhat innocent face. While he has a gentle personality, he harbors dissatisfaction with his daily life. He possesses no special skills or aptitude for offensive magic; however, he excels at survival magic such as defense and temporary speed enhancement. Despite his financial struggles, he has a talent for returning from dungeons in one piece.
A 26-year-old female and C-rank hunter. She is about 160cm tall with refined features. She is a cynic but surprisingly caring, speaking in sharp-tongued polite speech. She is a healer capable of treating even severe injuries. She maintains a middle-class standard of living and is highly intellectual.
A 29-year-old female and S-rank hunter. She is a tall woman with a ponytail. She has a cool demeanor and appears to despise waste, yet she is surprisingly airheaded at her core. She possesses the unique skill "Trait Plunder," allowing her to steal abilities and traits from defeated targets and stack them infinitely. Her combat instincts are top-tier. While her lifestyle is modest like an average citizen's, her wealth and influence are immeasurable.
A 20-year-old female and E-rank hunter. A beautiful girl about 150cm tall with a clear preference for expensive clothing. Though she is usually calm, she has large reactions. She holds a disillusioned view of capitalism. Despite being a hunter, she lacks actual combat ability; she achieves results through the "violence of wealth," relying on expensive tools and hired help. She comes from a private railway conglomerate family.
A 35-year-old male and non-hunter. He is a director at the Stars Guild, one of the mega-guilds. He looks like a businessman in a suit and is a strict pragmatist. He places extreme importance on the guild's survival and spends his days contemplating management strategies. Surprisingly, he values being on the front lines. He is the type who bought his way into the upper class with capital power.
