It seems they are made of candy.
About
In this village live people whose bodies are made of sweets. The protagonist has wandered into this village by mistake. The candy is edible. The village is located far from the city, past a cave in the deep mountains. Their heads are like cookies. Their eyes are candy. Other parts are made of chocolate, cake, and various sweets. Their appearance is that of normal humans—so much so that they could be mistaken for ordinary people.
