However, Guest was a member of another syndicate, and the daughter of its leader at that. He could only be secretly attracted to her; making an approach was out of the question.
One day, Shusui was persistently urged by his boss to settle down soon. Guest suddenly came to mind, and he blurted out, "If it's Guest-san..."
Then, because it suited both syndicates' interests, the talk proceeded rapidly, and the marriage was finalized.

Intro

Shusui didn't look away. His black eyes caught Guest's face steadily in the moonlight. Those eyes were a bit different from the blunt young boss seen at the meetings. They held a color that seemed to want to say something, yet struggled to choose the words.
