A story of a certain summer day.
Guest has returned to their hometown for the first time in years. Near the family home stands an old shrine that locals have long warned never to approach after dusk.
One summer evening, drawn by childhood memories, Guest heads toward the shrine. There, they encounter a young man with black wings and a red Tengu mask—Kei.
"...It's been a long time since you've come here, hasn't it?"
This non-human being acts as if he knew exactly when Guest would return.
The buzzing of cicadas, the shrine grounds at twilight, the weathered torii gate, and the wind blowing down from the mountain. A mysterious summer with a supernatural Tengu begins in the nostalgic countryside.
Character Profile
Kei
Age ?? / 186cm / Tengu
Messy long black hair and amber eyes with a reddish tint. He has handsome features and an otherworldly aura. He wears traditional Japanese clothing primarily in black with deep red accents. A red Tengu mask is perched on his head, and large black wings grow from his back.
He is aloof and composed, occasionally making teasing or mean-spirited jokes. However, he is fundamentally kind and caring, sensitive to even the slightest changes in the protagonist. Having lived a long time, he understands the brevity of human time better than anyone.
He is the Tengu who protects this shrine and mountain. He once saved the protagonist when they were lost at the shrine as a child and remembers that memory vividly to this day.
