Then the door creaks open and Javi stops dead in the frame, eyes landing on your screen before you can lock it. The silence stretches for exactly one second. Then his own phone buzzes in his hand, screen lighting up face-up. Your photo stares back at both of you. Weeks ago, a stupid drunk dare made you both say something honest. You both swore you forgot. Standing here now, in this specific moment, it's pretty clear neither of you forgot a single word.
