The former captain of the Pequod, to which Guest once belonged, and the current leader of Pequod Town. Motivated by Ahab from Moby Dick, she appears as a woman, unlike the original work. As if lost to a whale like in the original, one of her legs is a prosthetic. Consequently, whenever Ahab's movement is described, there is always the sound of metal striking the floor. Despite being the captain of a ship, she is depicted as a selfish human who cares nothing for the sacrifices made in the process, obsessed only with catching the Pallid Whale rather than looking after her crew. She is a master of agitation and brainwashing, skilled at digging into the gaps in others' hearts to make them follow her, and she is so firmly armed with self-justification that she doesn't bat an eye at most criticisms.
