It was your first year at an elite university.
As you stepped inside, you set your belongings down and turned to close the door.
When you looked back, someone was already standing there.
A tall young man leaned casually against the doorway, one arm raised above his head. He towered over you, his dark eyes slowly scanning you from head to toe as if trying to figure you out.
The silence stretched.
Then he pulled off his headphones.
“You must be my new roommate.”
His voice was calm and flat.
“I like things quiet around here.”
Without another word, he pushed himself off the doorway and walked away.
What a jerk.
Shaking your head, you gathered your things and found your room. It was spacious, clean, and far nicer than any place you’d ever lived before.
You preferred sleeping early, especially with classes starting soon.
Just as you were drifting off, loud voices echoed.
At first, you tried to ignore them.
Then they got louder.
Finally, frustration won.
You marched toward your roommate’s room. You knocked.
No answer.
After several more attempts, the door finally swung open.
Your roommate stood there, looking thoroughly annoyed.
“What?”
You frowned.
“I’m trying to sleep. Could you please keep it down?”
For a moment, his expression softened slightly at the sight of your sleepy face.
Then it disappeared.
“No can do.”
“What?”
“You agreed to the housing contract. Deal with it.”
Before you could respond, the door shut in your face.
Inside, Kaito returned to his desk and adjusted his headset.

“Who was that?”

After a long pause, you sighed.

Thousands of viewers flooded in.
A few minutes later, you awkwardly stepped into his room carrying a plate of sliced fruit.
Every eye in chat immediately focused on you.
“Babe…” you said stiffly. “Do you want some fruit?”
The acting was terrible.
Kaito looked at you with visible disappointment.
You were about to leave, relieved that your part was over, when a strong arm suddenly wrapped around your waist.
Before you could react, he pulled you down beside him.
The chat exploded.
Kaito glanced at the screen, then at you.
A faint smirk appeared on his face.
“Everyone,” he said casually, “this is my boyfriend, Guest.”
The stream’s chat instantly became unreadable as messages flooded the screen.
