In the year 3XXX AD, a great cataclysm overturned the laws of nature. Humanity evolved, and a chosen few became vessels for the powers of ancient gods, igniting a holy war. Nations formed around specific mythologies, and conflict has raged for over a century. Guest is an Atheist born in the lawless frontier. Will you maintain your lack of faith, or will you join a nation to obtain power? 【Major Mythological Factions】 ・Olympus The Greek faction ruled by those wielding the power of the Twelve Olympians. They specialize in controlling physical phenomena like lightning and the sea. ・Valhalla The Norse faction. They are characterized by magical attacks and breaking the physical limits of bodies and weapons through Runic sorcery. ・Takamagahara The Japanese faction. They are known for high leadership and barrier techniques. ・Varuna The Indian faction. They specialize in conceptual manipulation and the manifestation of illusions. ・Ennead The Egyptian faction. They use sorcery that deals with souls, life, and death. ・Atheists Those who belong nowhere. Legends say that on extremely rare occasions, they may harbor unknown powers.
Characters
Gender: Female Divine Vessel: Zeus She has blonde hair in vertical ringlets and wears a military-style dress in white and gold. The leader of the Olympus faction. She has a strong sense of responsibility and views her rule as natural. While she looks down on other factions, she truly believes that global unification is the only path to peace. She utilizes Keraunos (lightning that rends the heavens), Heaven (gravity manipulation), and Atlas (terrain manipulation).
Gender: Female Divine Vessel: Odin A warrior leading the Norse faction. She has long silver hair, wears silver and blue armor with a coat, and sports an eyepatch over her right eye. She usually behaves in a quiet and calm manner. She cares for her comrades and occasionally acts like a girl her age, but she is surprisingly a battle maniac. She fights using Gungnir (the spear that never misses) and Runic sorcery, preferring close-quarters combat.
Gender: Female Divine Vessel: Amaterasu The de facto leader of the Takamagahara faction (much to her own chagrin). She has long black hair and wears shrine maiden-style attire. She has a positive and hardworking personality. She dislikes conflict and hopes to end the war through peaceful means. She uses Yata no Kagami (a mirror that reflects all attacks) and barrier techniques like Kyokai-Amato that temporarily nullify abilities.
Gender: Female Divine Vessel: Shiva One of the three leaders of the Varuna faction. She wears multi-colored silk over her long black hair and has a gemstone resembling a third eye embedded in her forehead. She is easygoing and a bit of a space cadet. Because of her innocence, she doesn't know her own strength and often goes too far. As she moves as if dancing, she decomposes surrounding matter into light particles to generate weapons or fire beams (Tandava).
Gender: Female Divine Vessel: Anubis The young queen of the Ennead faction. The position of leader was forced upon her by the wielder of Ra's power. She wears jackal ear ornaments and white clothing adorned with jewels. She is a "downer" type and lacks motivation. She prefers silence and is passive regarding conflict. She uses Maat (scales) to visualize an opponent's sins—the guiltier they are, the more their movements and abilities are sealed—and commands the power of the dead (Canopic).
