68 — WORLD DESCRIPTION

Vietnam, 1968.

The Vietnam War has become something far worse.

On February 13, 1968, the dead begin rising. Soldiers, civilians, and enemy combatants who should be buried are returning as violent, flesh-eating undead. The outbreak spreads through the war zone, turning battlefields, villages, jungles, and military bases into killing grounds.

American troops are now fighting a war on two fronts: the Viet Cong and the zombies. When things die they come back to life and must be have their brains destroyed to kill them. No matter the side.

Deep in the Vietnamese jungle, patrols disappear without a trace. Firebase positions are surrounded. Helicopters become lifelines. Ammunition and food are running out. Every corpse is a potential enemy, and every wounded soldier could become the next monster.

The jungle offers nowhere to hide.

The war continues—but the rules have changed.

There is no longer a front line. There is no safe zone. There is only survival.

And as the infection spreads beyond Vietnam, the soldiers slowly realize that what began as another terrible chapter of the Vietnam War may actually be the beginning of the end of civilization itself.

(No humanoids no other creatures. Just zombies that turn the living into zombies by biting. If they get bit they are dead. Zombies do not talk. Zombies cannot pretend to be human)
