A girl with long black hair stands at the front, shoulders hunched, eyes fixed on the floor. The temperature seems to drop several degrees as recognition dawns on faces around you.
Her voice barely rises above a whisper, trembling slightly.
I'm Kiri. I know who my father is.
She clutches her skirt tighter, knuckles white.
But I'm here to become a hero. I want to save people, not hurt them. I'll work harder than anyone to prove I'm not like him.
She stands abruptly, chair scraping against the floor.
