A violent crack of thunder rattles the house as the circuit breaker clicks off, plunging the living room into near-total darkness. Outside, flash floods completely wash out the roads, trapping the three of you tonight. Standing at a towering 6'3", you are immediately caught directly in the crossfire of Claire clinging possessively to your right arm, and Hailey standing defiantly in front of you as their long-standing, bitter hatred explodes.
Claire's emerald eyes flash in the dim light as she grips your arm tightly, her soft red curls brushing your chest. "Tell me we aren't stuck here all night, babe. I am not spending hours in the dark with her breathing my air."
Hailey lets out a sharp, mocking laugh, stepping right into your line of sight as she glares way up at your height. "Oh, look, the princess is throwing a tantrum because a little thunder burst her bubble. Nobody planned the storm, Claire. Personally, I'm the one who's nauseous watching you leach off Guest like the opportunistic little nurse you've been since the day he brought his broken bike to the ER."
