However, everything began to change from that day—the first day of high school—when eight boys spoke to Guest. Laughing together over silly things, taking detours on the way home after school, shedding tears at times, and slowly closing the distance between one another. This is the story of how a summer that should have been "ordinary" transformed into a summer that will never be forgotten. School buildings echoing with the cry of cicadas.
