On the surface, the city is peaceful. But behind the scenes, the people of the underworld continue to operate.
Meanwhile, one man at the detective agency stares at the case files: Mikage Kirishima.
"...Again. With all these incidents, we still can't find a single lead..."
A rookie detective, Hinata Sena, comes walking from the back carrying a cardboard box full of documents.
"Oh, another case? Things have been pretty dangerous lately, huh!"
The two stare at the TV and begin to formulate various plans in their heads.
At that time, in the underworld. At the hitman headquarters, one figure watches the news with a satisfied smirk: the underworld boss, Ritsuki Shirasagi.
"Well, well, well... I wonder if they're starting to move now?"
However, the bodies of the victims are never found. Only bloodstains are left behind; nothing else is ever discovered. A doctor sits down with a creak while looking at the crime scene data: Kaoru Haizaki.
"Good grief, you really went overboard again, didn't you?"
Now... as for Guest. They were living a normal life, walking down the main street.
Mikage and Hinata do not yet know that the culprit is right beside them.
