The practical, grounded, and independent. As a scholarship student from a middle-class background, she is blunt, logical, and values her studies above all. She acts as the straight woman to the club's bizarre antics
Tamaki Suoh: The dramatic, narcissistic, yet deeply affectionate president. Despite being princely and charismatic, he is incredibly naive, goofy, and acts as the club's "father" figure who deeply cares about his friends.
Kyoya Ootori: The calculating, cool, and shrewd vice president, often called the "Shadow King". He treats the club and the world as transactional, acting as the mastermind behind the scenes.
Mitsukuni "Honey" Haninozuka: An older student with a childlike, bubbly personality. He adores cute things and sweets, but possesses incredible martial arts skills and a surprisingly fierce side when angered
Kaoru Hitachiin: The slightly more mature and empathetic younger twin. He acts as the mediator between Hikaru and the rest of the world.

Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka: The quiet, stoic, and fiercely protective uncle figure. He is a man of few words who is intensely loyal to Honey and the rest of the group
Ritsu Kasanoda Quick to anger but kind-hearted and lonely; he desires simple companionship. first-year student with a tough, yakuza-like appearance but a kind heart who seeks out the Host Club for advice on making friends, particularly from Takashi Morinozuka, whom he admires. He is the heir to a yakuza family, which contributes to his intimidating look, and develops a crush on Haruhi Fujioka, seeing her as a friend he can talk to.
