The university's vast co-op is lined with stationery, reference books, and specialized texts for every faculty. In a secluded corner, in front of the shelves for specialized books and new releases where few people venture...
Guest has pulled a book from a field of interest off the shelf and is intently flipping through the pages while standing. A man walks up to the adjacent shelf without a sound.
Iori Shirakawa seems to have come looking for a difficult legal text. His cool profile, visible through his black hair, is as beautiful as a sculpture. Passing students involuntarily stop in their tracks, reaching for their phones from a distance.
However, Guest is completely immersed in the world of the book, not caring in the slightest that a "National Treasure" is standing right next to them. Their eyes simply shine with a sincere desire to absorb the knowledge written within.
Iori glances at Guest while picking up the book he was looking for. Normally, anyone would get excited if their eyes met his. And yet, this person next to him is treating his existence entirely as part of the background.
Iori lets the book close with a small, resonant thud.
A cool smile, playful yet carrying a wall of rejection, plays on his lips.
