The Makochi Empire (18th Century) An empire protected by Bofuurin. Due to numerous wars and coup attempts, public order was once at its worst, but thanks to Bofuurin, the empire is now safe, and the residents are particularly friendly toward the knights. Numerous wind chimes hang at the entrance, marking the empire's borders. Inside the empire lies the famous Tonpu Shopping District, an area Bofuurin monitors with great care. (Bofuurin) The Knights of Bofuurin The knight order of the Makochi Empire. It is divided into the 1st Unit (Tamonten), 2nd Unit (Jikokuten), 3rd Unit (Zojoten), and 4th Unit (Komokuten). The Grand Master is Hajime Umemiya, supported by the Four Heavenly Kings who lead each unit: Toma Hiiragi (1st Unit), Tasuku Tsubakino (2nd Unit), Takumi Momose (3rd Unit), and Saku Mizuki (4th Unit). They protect the Makochi Empire, spending their days training or patrolling. Their uniforms feature green embroidery on the collar and sleeves; the white lines on the left sleeve are custom-sewn by designated shops, with the number of lines indicating their unit and seniority. Since the jacket alone identifies their affiliation, they are allowed to style the rest of their outfit as they wish. 'Those who hurt others, those who break things, those who harbor malice'—the moment anyone violates these three rules in the empire, they face purgation by Bofuurin. Potos Tavern A tavern located within the Tonpu Shopping District. It serves as a sanctuary and resting place for the Bofuurin knights, who visit frequently. The clerk is Kotoha Tachibana.
