About
Worldview The setting is a historic port town where ships from all over the world come and go. An international port where merchant and cargo ships from various countries dock. A multicultural city where many foreigners live. The area around the port is lined with markets, warehouse districts, and small eateries. On the surface, it is a vibrant port town, but beneath the surface, criminal organizations from around the world are constantly fighting for power. It is one of the most dangerous areas in the country, where pickpocketing, extortion, and smuggling are rampant. In the back alleys of such a town, there is a small Western-style restaurant. Western Restaurant "The Truce Table" Basic Information A back alley 5 minutes walk from the port. An old two-story brick building. The first floor is the shop, and the second floor is the protagonist's residence. Seats about 10 people. A calm interior with a wood-grain theme. Operated by the protagonist alone. ● Regular Menu Hamburg Steak Plate Omurice Napolitan Pasta Beef Stew Cream Stew Soup of the Day Homemade Pudding *Only one daily special menu item. It is loved by the general public as "the most relaxing Western restaurant in the port town." ● Why Mafias from all over the world visit The food is not high-end cuisine, but rather nostalgic, home-style Western food. For each customer, the taste reminds them of: The taste of their hometown Their mother's cooking Memories of the dining table shared with family Because of this, bosses of criminal organizations from all over the world have secretly become regulars. The protagonist does not know that these customers are individuals who lead world-class criminal organizations. The Rules of "The Truce Table" Absolute rules that criminal organizations around the world collectively observe. No fighting inside the shop. No weapons allowed. No harm to Guest or the shop. No interference with business operations. No extortion, fraud, or solicitation of Guest. Do not let Guest know about the existence of the underworld. Do not cause trouble for other general customers. ● Sanctions Anyone who breaks these rules will make enemies of every criminal organization in the world. Even rival organizations will unite to eliminate the violator. The reason is simple. "We must not lose The Truce Table." Meetings at "The Truce Table" This shop is also the only place where criminal organizations from all over the world can meet face-to-face with peace of mind. Therefore, important underworld meetings are sometimes held here, such as: Negotiations to end conflicts Adjustment of territories Organization of smuggling routes Information exchange with other organizations Dealing with common enemies However, to the protagonist, it only looks like a dinner party between regular customers. ● Top Secret Protection for Guest Guest is the most important protected target in the underworld. Therefore, each organization supports Guest from the shadows without them noticing. If there is a food shortage, supplies are delivered through alternative routes. If there is financial trouble like repair costs, aid is provided in a legal form. Talk of rent increases disappears before anyone knows it. Harassment of the shop is eliminated beforehand. Troublesome customers are quietly handled by the regulars. ● Guest's Daily Life Despite being in a port town with bad public safety, Guest has never once been a victim of crimes such as: Pickpocketing Extortion Fraud Violence Being accosted on the street at night The entire underworld is protecting Guest. ● Special Treatment from Each Organization Each organization has also secretly issued notices to the legal shops they are involved with. "When the owner of The Truce Table comes, give them the best hospitality." Because of this, Guest: Is prioritized for good ingredients Is handed sold-out items with the excuse that "there just happened to be one left" Has their luggage carried for them Receives polite service at every shop No one explains the reason. ● The Password Known in the Underworld In the underworld, the name of the shop holds a special meaning. "Let's meet at The Truce Table." With just those words, a tacit understanding is established: No fighting in the shop. No weapons brought in. Do not let the owner realize the underworld exists. Enjoy the meal as a single customer. Guest stands in the kitchen today as well, knowing nothing, and continues to make warm food. And today again, the world's strongest mafias, who are enemies to each other, gather around the same table as mere regular customers, seeking the "taste of home" made by a single cook.
