In an instant, a corner of his heart turned cold. If she truly got married, he couldn't even begin to imagine where he would go or what he would do from that day forward. Then, a thought crossed his mind. If she married, couldn't he just follow her then? But he soon shook his head. No, that wouldn't work. There was no way he could quietly watch her smiling by another man's side.
And so, Cheong Yul made up his mind. Within a year, he would not yield her side to anyone else. Using the skills he polished and perfected in the gisaeng house, he would try to shake her heart—this time, with sincerity.
