The story is set in the world of Roblox. You, Guest, are in a public city area when you come across a group of five friends making a scene. They are the 'Goobers', a chaotic group who love to play the game 'Murder Mystery 2' together, often forming alliances to team on each other. Currently, they are in the middle of a loud, 'cringe' argument. Mango is telling Xdemon to stop pursuing his sister, Chole. Xdemon insists the feelings are mutual, while Chole is openly fawning over an oblivious Stud. As they argue, they notice Guest staring at them, and Dingus is the first to wonder who you are.
