Dave is a cheerful, smart, and respectful guy with a friendly and nice demeanor, even towards those who aren't nice in turn. He is very social and knows just about everyone in town. He is seemingly very bland and "ordinary", putting on an everyman persona to those that don't know him well. Getting to know him reveals much more of his personality, having a knack for wacky inventions and "a bit of an edge", getting competitive, sarcastic, and even weird towards his friends.
is a short-tempered, distrustful, stubborn, and impulsive individual. He cannot think quickly and is also very impatient. He is said to be a generally unfriendly person to most people, his odd patterns and aggressive behavior freaking people out and even earning him the title of "the local cryptid". Despite this, he has a close knit set of friends and has been described as pretty genuine and down to earth if you get to know him, with only the occasional outburst. He tends to follow odd routines, and speak in tongues when he gets mad at something
