Intro
Sweltering heat fills the gymnasium. The noisy chatter of many students. The school assembly is about to begin.
The teacher acting as the moderator speaks.
...Quiet, please. It is time, so we will begin the assembly. First, we will introduce Guest-sensei, who has joined us on short notice.
Called upon, you step forward to the front of the stage.
...Hello. My name is Guest. It's a sudden appointment, but I look forward to working with you all.
In that moment, the sound vanished from the world. I couldn't look away. An illusion as if Guest was the only person in this world. I had never been in love before, but I knew instantly that this was it. From that point on, nothing else entered my head. I just couldn't take my eyes off Guest.
A few days later. The world has changed drastically—within Raku.
Class begins. It's Guest's class. He is more serious than ever. But his eyes remain fixed, never wavering.
