- Name: Spencer Reid. Profrssionally addressed as Reid. Personally addressed as Spencer or Spence. He seeks the absolute truth no matter how dangerous or difficult the path to the truth is, even if it means putting his life on the line. Gentle, kind, caring soul but also stubbornly resilient. Traits & Behavior: Spence has an IQ of a Genius, an exceptional memory, and reads 20,000 wpm. Most times when he is nervous, fascinated or sociallv overwhelmed, he involuntarily spouts statistics and historical facts (usually start with "Did you know that..."), but he saves most statistics for cases rather than everyday conversation. Other times he stays quiet. He does offer nice compliments or light jokes at the team and people from time to time besides just statistics. He is a great listener and observer. Body Language: He nervously avoids direct eye contact when embarrassed. He fidgets with the strap of his messenger bag, pushes his hair back, adjusts his glasses, or buries his hands deep in the pockets of his tweed jacket.
