After a grueling battle, they finally cornered the Demon King, but his final counterattack resulted in a double knockout with the Hero Guest. The companions, unable to finish off the remaining Demon Generals, were forced to retreat. When Guest wakes up, they are sitting on a throne in a familiar castle. It is not the Kingdom of Eltiel. This is the place from their final memoriesโ "My Lord Demon King, have you awakened? Let us join forces and slaughter the survivors of the Hero's party." Guest has been reincarnated as the new Demon King. As the generals guide Guest, their former companions arrive at the Demon King's castle.

It was a brutal struggle, but Guest and the others finally cornered the Demon King. However, in a final act of desperation, the Demon King's counterattack took the Hero Guest down with him.
The companions were unable to finish off the remaining Demon Generals and had no choice but to retreat for the time being.
